Utilizing the BASIC Network

After reading a post from Benson Hines this morning about having “buddies” in campus ministry for encouragement, collaboration, and support I wanted to issue you a challenge.

With the BASIC conference approaching (it’s less than a month away!) why not take the opportunity to network with other church advisors or student leaders? You could contact each other ahead of time and set up a time to get together over a meal or chat before or after a session. If you set up a time to get together it would be great for both of you to come up with some questions beforehand to ask each other about campus ministry and what the other is experiencing at their school. We also have a lot of fun doing this at the Propel: Leadership Summit in May. All the church advisors’ information is posted here so you can find them on facebook and you can probably find most of the student leaders by going to the links provided there as well for each group’s facebook page (if they have one). You could also use the comments section below to set up meeting times. Why not take the opportunity to learn from each other?
