After writing this blog for the last two and a half years I have an exciting announcement to make. Starting in June, the Concepts for Campuses blog will have a new contributing writer! BASIC staff member, Ryan Alsheimer, will begin writing for the blog twice a month. That’s right, you’ll get to hear regularly from this incredibly bearded, ukelele playing husband and college ministry superhero!
Over the last couple years I’ve really enjoyed using this blog to reach college ministry leaders and that’s not going to change. I’ll still be writing for the blog at least twice a month. But with how busy things have gotten here at BASIC as the ministry has grown, I knew I needed to step back from being the sole writer and give someone else the opportunity to share their heart for campus ministry.
Ryan is a campus minister on the SUNY Oneonta campus and a great writer. Some of you may remember that he wrote a post about Responding to Adversity for the blog back in March that was really well received. He also has been sending out monthly resource emails to our advisors. I’m excited to work with him and read what he has to share. You can be looking for his first post in the next few weeks. Please welcome him to the blog!
