CEASELESS: DAY 2

DAY 2

Being overly busy seems to happen to everyone nowadays, and we often use it as an excuse for not getting something done, helping a friend out, or showing up to an event. But what else do we leave out of our schedules when we start to feel the weight of busyness creeping in? It’s one thing to miss a party or even occasionally getting together with a good friend, but we cannot let it regularly interrupt our schedules so much so that it invades our time with God.

Most of us would admit that there are few (if any) things more important in our lives than our time spent with God- whether that be in prayer, in God’s word, or simply listening to hear His voice in our quiet times. But do we live like this? Do we actually in our day to day prioritize time with God above all else? It’s so easy in our culture to put studies/classwork/commitments above what we need  and above our own personal wellness, but if you look at God’s word, it directs us to be much more intentional with our lives.

  • Have you ever felt carried away by your own busy schedule?
  • Do you lack feeling grounded or have trouble being intentional and feeling good about the way you spent your time at the end of the day?

Take some time to dive into God’s word and spend time listening to Him. It’s one of the few things you’ll never regret spending time on!
