I’m super excited to announce a big change to the college ministry leaders blog! We’re always looking for ways to make the blog better. So, we’re expanding our team of 2 contributors to a team of 4. That’s a 100% increase!
So, here’s the new team (complete with various confusing sports metaphors)!
Moving up from the semi pros (a personal blog) to the major leagues (we’re kind of a big deal), Jamie Sinclair is the BASIC advisor for our chapters in Northern NY. This includes SUNY Potsdam, SUNY Canton, Clarkson University and St. Lawrence University. After being a student leader for years he took over as the advisor a number of years back and has a lot to share from what he has learned.
Elizabeth Dorsey was a student leader at the Nazareth College chapter for several years and then joined the BASIC crew last year after she graduated. She is pioneering the video blog (VLOG) movement on the blog and brings tons of energy, personality, and fun to make up for when the rest of us are boring. We like to think of her as the team mascot, minus the ridiculous costume.
For the sake of our sports metaphors we will call Ryan our hockey defenseman. Ryan Alsheimer has one of the best beards I have ever seen and he doesn’t just grow it for the playoffs. Oh, he’s also a great writer and the advisor of the chapter at SUNY Oneonta.
Hitting clean up is me, Chris Zeigler. I’ve been writing the blog since it started over 3 years ago and I just can’t get enough. After being a student leader in my BASIC chapter at SUNY Oswego I joined the BASIC crew in 2009. Years later I just won’t go away (kind of like the Alex Rodriguez PED scandal).
So, there you have it. I’m really excited as I think adding new contributors will give the blog some fresh perspective and new insights. Please welcome Elizabeth and Jamie to the team!
